Just got back - really tough tourney.
42 teams ! from NY , PA, CT, Mass, NJ & Va
Other teams from Section 5 should go next year.
Many state reps in all classes. some state champs.
I think every finalist had over 100 wins.
Nate Patterson had a great win in the semis against Milllet (#1 seed)
Luke baum lost a tough quarter final in OT - wrestled back to 3rd
Singly lost a close one in the semis by a point and wrstled back strong to get 3rd
Zaso lost in the semis and wrestled back to 3rd.
Josh Patterson was tied 0-0 with 15 secionds left when he got pinned by prutzman. He tried a desperate move to win and got caught.
Wayne had a great tourney - taking 3rd out of 42 teams.

Some background on Westley, Thad Westley of Tyrone is currently ranked #3 on one set of rankings and number #1 on another in PA, AA (Class B) His only loss this year was in the Finals of King of the Mountain Tourney to the returning AAA (Class A) runner up. Good quality wrestler. Glad to see NY teams doing well in such a large tourney. Good Luck the rest of the year.
