Too many of you are missing out on collegiate wrestling because you go to colleges without a wrestling team in the athletic department. It is very easy to start a club team through your student association/senate. Most collegiate Rugby teams operate in this fashion as well. Simply join the National Collegiate Wrestling Association.
There are over 200 colleges nationwide that belong to this league and there are five active ones in NYS. We are in the Northeast Conference which stretches from Delaware to Maine and has over thirty members. We compete in events against other schools of all levels, DI to Junior College and everything in between.
If you have a group of guys at your school and would like some help getting a program going, contact me and I will help facilitate the process with the NCWA and your college. Don't miss out just because your school has dropped wrestling.

Head Wrestling Coach, UAlbany

I'd like to point out what an incredible organization this is. Anyone and everyone should be a part of it!
