7th Annual Bad Karma Team Duals

Cost: $400 per team
Format: Dual Team wrestling in pool format . Each team wrestles matches in their pool and cross bracket for placement. 1st of pool A will wrestle 1st of pool B for 1st/2nd place, and 2nd place of pool A will wrestle 2nd place of pool B for 3rd/4th place and on down.
Past entrants -Arrichion (North Carolina) -2009 and 2010 winner , All American, Quest, Apex, Steel, Wayne Danger, Ohio Lightning, Ohio Samsons, Steel, Rizz’s Gym, Ragin’ Raisins, BWC, Bison, Akron Wrestling Club
Periods: All periods will be 1 ½ – 1 ½ - 1 ½
Ages: High school grades 9 thru 12 -8th graders are permitted at coach’s discretion
Admission: $5 per adult $2 per student
Weigh In’s: 8:00 to 9:00 wrestling starts at 9:30 AM
-Each team will weigh in the day of the event
Weight Classes: New Highschool weights with addition of 100 lbs.
2 lb allowance 100 lbs =102, 106 lbs=108 etc etc etc…
100, 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220, 285
Team Scoring: Traditional scholastic team scoring with additional forfeit rule (below)
Special forfeit rule – If there is no wrestler weighed in there is only 2 team points awarded to opposing team. This is to prevent being penalized for not filling a couple spots due to offseason.
Tourney is Sunday to avoid any Fri evening highschool football games...Sun works best for this one
