We'll see, won't we? Most of these guys wrestled at Attica, if you took the time to look...

What's up with these threads asking who's going to win, but the OP doesn't offer their own thoughts? sigh. I'll do the work for you, I guess.

From Attica...
99 - Wyatt Smith (M) > Noah Royce (W) 6 - 0
106 - Hammon Raes (M) > Mason Gray (W) Fall 3:42 - Dylan Walker (W) vs Raes didn't happen because of the 5 match rule, it appears? Raes had .5 tournament points over Walker, so he went to finals...?
113 - Ryan McDonell (M) > Jordan Walker (W) 2-0... Warsaw also has 2 B team guys at this weight.
120 - Will Raes (M) > Josh Grisewood (W) Fall 4:24. Raes also teched another guy who pinned Grisewood. Collin Bowman (M) > Luplow (W) by fall... another B vs B match up, more or less.
126 - Ralph Mateo (M) > Alden kid - Mike Galton (W) lost to a Lyndonville kid, Hinckley, 7-1 that Mateo pinned in the first period.
132 - Sean Peacock (M) > Noah Grover Fall 0:56...
138 - Derrian Woodard (M) > Collin Royce (W) 9-4
145 - Corey Farrel (W... formerly York) > John Biekirch (M) Fall 3:44
152 - Marcus Wick (Warsaw B) > Josh Smith (M) Fall 1:43... Josh Griffith from Warsaw took 2nd in the bracket, and is the #1 at the weight.
160 - Ryan Coveny (W) > Robert Middlebrook (M) 7-6
170 - Burke Paddock (W) ... yeah. Midlakes guy went 0-2 in his RR bracket.
182 - Aaron Paddock (W) > Justin Grimes (M) 6-0
195 - Dylan Royce (W) > Jeryd Graham (M) 3-1
220 - Aaron Mann (W) > Grant Young (M) Fall 1:19
285 - Nestor Naranjo (M) > Dakota Higgins (W) 5:58

So, by those match scores converted to dual meet points, rough and dirty...
Weight: Midlakes - Warsaw (team scores... combined as matches go on)

99: 3-0
106: 9-0 (again, who knows with Dylan Walker in there, either way, imo, it's at least 3 for midlakes)
113: 12-0
120: 18-0
126: 24-0
132: 30-0
138: 33-0
145: 33-6
152: 33-12
160: 33-15
170: 33-21
182: 33-24
195: 33-27
220: 33-33
285: 39-33 Midlakes.

A few weight classes are swing classes (such as 160, 195, 113, possibly 138, 285 and 99...) and the meet will probably be decided by who from Warsaw can keep from getting pinned in the light-to-middle weights (tough part of midlakes' line up, obviously) to let the strength of their lineup (mid-to-upper weights) bring the match back within reach, and especially by tight wins at 160 and 195 for Warsaw.

Worth noting, I expect Warsaw will bump one of the 106lbers to 113 and may pull out a win here... I don't know their lineup well enough to say one way or the other though. Also, if Warsaw bumped a backup into the lineup at 170 (relatively easy win, by usual standards) and move Burke and Aaron to 182/195 respectively, it might net another 3-6 points for them. It's on the coaches at that point, but it's probably what I would do or at least consider stongly, depending who's got the send.

Warsaw needs to come to wrestle if they wanna have a chance to win though. Midlakes has still gotta be the favorite here.

Nice job Mayo. Didn't you get accused not too long ago, of not doing proper research before posting?

Whatever man, I never look things up, ever. Don't hurt my rep with such nonsense lol Wink

But thanks though. I really feel that if Warsaw keeps it bare bones (tournament weights), Midlakes walks away with a 42-30ish victory. If Warsaw bumps around for the best match ups and kind of Money-Balls the match ups for the best possible point outcomes, I could see them eking out a close victory. 285 needs to avoid getting pinned, obv. You'd like to see Grisewood keep from being pinned. Maybe 138 with Woodard and Royce plays out / in Royce's favor (didn't see the match, so I have no idea how it progressed and scoring happened). That and that potential win at 113 for Warsaw with a bumped 6er. Get 6 at 170 w B teamer, 5 or 6 with Burke at 182, and Aaron gets at least 3 at 195... bump Griffith from 152 to 160, Coveny to 170, Burke at 182, Aaron 195... a combination of one or two of those scenarios could be enough to swing the meet.

99: 3-0 Mid
106: 9-0 Mid
113: 9-3 Mid (Warsaw win from bumping better 106lber)
120: 15-3 Mid (Raes still with a pin)
126: 21-3 Mid
132: 27-3 Mid
138: 30-3 Mid (Woodard still winning)
145: 30-9 Mid
152: 30-15 Mid
160: 30-18 Mid (Coveny still winning w/ the 1pt decision from Attica results)
170: 30-24 Mid (Back up getting a pin for Warsaw, possibly a shot in the dark, but Mid 170 didn't have a strong showing at Attica, from results)
182: 30-30 War (B.Paddock picking up a pin)
195: 30-33 War (A.Paddock dec)
220: 30-39 War
285: 33-39 War (Midlakes 285er still gets a pin)

That's just one scenario w/ bumps... This match could feasibly go a lot of ways. For instance, Coveny drops the match at 160 or the 113 match stays a decision for Midlakes... looking at 36-36 and a criteria breakdown...

Should be a very exciting dual to watch, and if I'm the coach, I'm letting my 152 B teamer go head to head with the guy he pinned a few days ago, bumping Griff to 160 and expecting 3, Coveny to 170 and expecting 6, Burke and Aaron to 182/195 and expecting 6/3 respectively... for the win.

Even if dual tournaments usually aren't quite the same (excitement or wrestling) as an actual dual meet (I always seem to miss other 'high profile' matches happening in the gym), in my opinion, this should be very entertaining.

Notable update I caught - Hosmer beats Griffith 6-1 in their dual.

I also think Woodard got pinned bumping up to 145, possibly, though I could be wrong... It was across the gym vs Fillmore. Whoever it was came up with a wrist/forearm injury of some sort.

Dane Heiberlein(sp?), 99lber from Alexander just bumped to 106 and teched Hammond Raes from Midlakes 16-0 midway through the third... Absolutely dominant. Wow.
