In '99-'00 Supers, 112, Trevor Chinn ended up winning the tournament over Moreland and earned a trip to states.
In Class A sectionals, Moreland held off a Joe Veltre comeback attempt (ending in OT) to take the title, while Chinn finished 3rd.
Did Chinn and Moreland wrestle in this tournament, or any other, prior to Supers?
Benny Sortino won the Bradshaw tournament that year at 112 (he lost to Forte at Genesee Valley at 119)... did he beat Chinn? Results of the class A tournament have Chinn winning by default over Sortino. What happened?!
Really curious about this weight class that year. Armdrag results back then aren't quite as thorough as the new stuff.

Good question! I'm not 100% sure but I believe Veltre upset Chinn. The Moreland/Veltre match was one of the most insane, high scoring, match I had ever seen!
At 103 that year, Hibbs was the defending state champ. His match against Zengerle was one of the only matches I had ever seen where a wrestler was DQ'd for basically running.
