I heard there was a scary situation in the Wantagh/Fulton dual at 145. Apparently the kid from Fulton hit the mat and lost consciousness. An ambulance was called and he was taken out on a stretcher. Hope the young man is okay.

It seems like they could make mats 50% softer and it wouldn't affect the sport much, other than be that much safer.

Yeah, I don't know. I wasn't there, so I didn't see it. I just heard it wasn't a slam or anything out of the ordinary.......just a good double leg shot, and the kid just landed wrong.
