Any upstate D1 Wrestlers I missed let me know please.

Just remember that a great record also needs at least 1-2 wins over a quality opponent and or
a resume from previous years.

Thanks in advance

are these official rankings or a list you believe wrestlers are ranked.? Just wondering. ?

Suprised not to see Hector Colom, or Justin McDougald listed or even HM . Rank wrestling. Com had both listed on thiers.. All these different sites that do rankings and all mention different names.. It's good though, definitely refreshing to see other names being mentioned

Got to say being only 6 or 7 Deep, Canisteo/Greenwood is doing some serious butt kicking. I also think they deserve a little more respect in the team rankings. So, they have some holes, does that really make a difference as to how they perform with the team they have. Like this Old Marine say's we're THE FEW THE PROUD THE MARINES. Kinda like CANISTEO/GREENWOOD asking to be recognized as the FEW,THE PROUD, THE REDSKINS. Give them their DUE. Love Arm Drag. Thanks.

They need to fill the holes!

Few things.

First, I know I have Grace twice lol. I was too tired to find a replacement last night Smile

Secondly, D2 wrestlers kick butt. I just don't know them as well being a Sec 1 guy. I would rather
a D2 upstate guy do them. It's a lot of work heh.

I've been doing rankings for roughly 8 or 9 years now. I feel very strong about separating the two divisions
for a number of reasons. Most importantly, the rankings, not only being for fun and recognition, are a look into
who and at what weight the top wrestlers could be going into States. You want to be able to pin point who may be ahead of
who and be able to follow the top wrestlers.
Another thing is D1 and D2 wrestlers will not be wrestling each other post season. There is no reason to compare the two divisions until the season is over,
or for gauging d2 vs d1 state champs if it ever comes to that, and that will only constitute the top 2 champs.
I also dislike looking at other rankings that include both divisions and have lets say D2 monopolize a certain weight with 5 or 6 spots taken, and I am left with only seeing
2 wrestlers from D1. Remember, the rankings are done and then updated thru out the season for the main purpose of projecting pecking order for States.

Again, these are D1 rankings. If I ranked any D2 guys by mistake..my bad.

This past weekend at NCCC there was many upsets one that stood out was in the 113 bracket Justin McDougald beat Mitch Seaver (State Placer) in the semi-finals 5-1 decision, if there was more time it could've been won by pin Mitch was on his back . McDougald had control most of match . Was the match of the tournament

Not sure why he is down that far eaither, and not at 120lb, I would only guess to give his team mate a chance at 120 Gill..If I was his Father I would have him at q20 so college coaches will consider. I heard that they wanted him there but his decision was to go 115.

Lopresti is like 19-7 and about the 4th best 106 in section 5, no way he should be ranked.

I was thinking the same thing, but since he came down from 113 wanted to see him against Austin Sergeant in their dual against Fairport. Sergeant won 7-3 and controlled the match after the first takedown.

Matt Cicco at 182 is section 6. I'm sure it's just a typo.

Yeah, there's a few typos, but we can cut him a break. Smile Why bother mentioning that Shenendehowa (145) is SECTION 2, and Depalma (113) is from FarmingDALE.......and SECTION 8.
