Why is Laniewski from Niskayuna not listed at 152? He beat Wightman, Byron, Henry and finished higher than Spada at eastern states.

You are right.......he should be ranked, having beaten Wightman, Byron, and Henry in head-to-heads. But you're splitting hairs regarding Spada, because the ES tournament is really only used for head-to-heads, and not so much with the places they finished. The reason he finished ahead of Spada is because Spada got Connor Melbourne in the cons semis, knocking him to the 5th place match. Leindowski got Melbourne in the 3rd place match.
I'm thinking the poor slob who ended up facing Adam Busiello in the cons semis got a bit ripped off in his drive for the 3rd place match, in comparison to the other two cons semis wrestlers in his bracket.

I actually think based on results it is not a stretch at all. Sergeant, Anders, Ferro, Burgos (when he's wrestled at 106), Cheek are likely there ahead of him. No?

Depalma I was told will be back at 120, only came down for eastern states. .Along with a few others that are ranked in other weights. Going back up because states gave them 117lbs for example and 120 was 124lbs and so on.. !! Curious how all will work out especially with the 145/152 lbs and 138lbs I assume kids will be shifting now to what theyou feel is best for them.

Another big switch, as Lotrz probably knows by now, is that apparently Cirillo is going down to 120 as well. I guess they all saw Busiello's loss, and they are charging after him, LOL.

I would like to see Austin Sergeant as HM.....he has beaten #3 Anders this year and just beat Lopresti who you had ranked prior. Also Bolia should be higher he is undefeated and just beat Laith Alsous who I believe is the #1 DII guy, also you have Jared Crucitti from Fulton #4. Crucitti took 5th at the Oswego Tournament losing to Victor Wrestler 6-4 who Bolia pinned in the first period and he also lost to Nate Briggs from Ononadaga/Tully 1-0 whom Bolia beat in the finals 17-8. I guess we will find out next week at the Fairport vs Fulton dual.
