But as of now 5 ( Long Island )sec 8 vs sec 11 match ups in first round

I don't think many care what the draws were for Sec 8 and Sec 11. I'm sure upstate has had it's share
of tough seedings/draws.
Looking at all the weights, there are no easy paths to the semis. As far as the Sectional scoring is concerned,
that will take care of itself as it always does.

Some good and bad draws for our boys... I think Samson anders and Hertel have great chances to make the finals seeing Spallina go unseeded was a surprise to me

Some really bad draws and non seeds. . Especially those who placed last year at states, and now not seeded.. this is crazy and will definitely have 1 round matches that should be quarter or semi matches

only one change that I would like to see is at 106- Ryder (11) 2-seed and Redding (11) 3 seed on the same side. NEVER should a Suffolk Co Finals and Finalists be on the same side of the NYS Tourney bracket. It behooves me !!!! This Regularity....

Same problem at 220 Caffrey vs Robinson Suffolk county finals will repeat again as a semi-final match.

I don't agree with that statement at all. If that's the way if falls, that's the way it falls. You can't just start reconfiguring brackets because you want to cater to sections. This is an INDIVIDUALS tournament. The main problem I have is that I do not understand a system that wouldn't have Ryder as the top seed to begin with! He was the state finalist last year, and has lost one match since (to Redding).......which he avenged. Doesn't make any sense.
Same with Robinson. How the heck is he not the top seed???? He was the 2016 state champ, the ES finalist, and the Section 11 champ!!!!!
This stuff has got to get fixed on Thursday.

I agree the system should not have you lose your criteria after one loss especially if you split that with wrestler. Ryder should be #1 as he split with Redding so Redding should not have criteria over him he already received Ryder's points.

Redding doesn't have criteria over Ryder.
Redding is not the top seed.......Griffin is.
