Iroquois Lakeshore and Starpoint all dropped to small school this season. That will make a few weight classes interesting in small school.

At the Super 32 last month, J Mcdougald went 132 and W Mcdougald went 145. They'll probably drop at least one more weight class for the season. I can see all 3 Mcdougalds, Rabideau, Andreesen and Stencel going back to states pretty easily. I thought Daghestani from GI looked tough but raw last year. He could be a force as long as he put some time in over the summer.

In DII I'd add Zak Trim of Maple Grove and Bryce Rowe of Chautauqua Lake to your list. Maple Grove wrestlers tend to start slow due to extended football seasons but Zak became a sectional champ (1-0?) over Keefe and Bryce hung well with the other quality wrestlers at 145 in multiple matchups.

As we were told on the Section V forum we are talking Section VI. But yes both kids are very good wrestlers.

The Buffalo News said Andreesen was playing football at 225 lbs. Is he gonna drop 30 lbs or go 220 ?

The "Nostalgia" thread, while posted on the Section V forum, lamented the general lack of discussion at any forum associated with this website. I agreed and mentioned Attica/Batavia's merger issue, asked if Warsaw, Midlakes (I'll add Wayne now) were likely for a rebound year. Nothing. Just some section VI guys trying to boost some discussion. The OP author seemed to ask us section VI guys to vacate so that particular thread hasn't seen a post in about a week. So this is why BJB7 pointed out that he was talking section VI only.

In an answer to a point that BJB7 made regarding Pioneer and Falconer, the quick research I did showed Falconer returning 27 of their 32 team points and 6 of their 7 wins while Pioneer returns 19 of their 32 team points and 5 of their 8 wins from last year's championship dual. Seems like F/CV would enter the season as having a slight edge. Both these teams will be at the Dick Vincent Duals again this year so they will see some of the best of section V DII teams there as well as each other and then meet up again a little over three weeks later @ host Lancaster's field house for the section VI dual championship.
