Wyoming Seminary "A" team was what I heard. Should be some exciting matches with nationally ranked kids in the finals. Beau Bartlett at 126 (#9), Carson Manville at 132 (# , Jack Davis at 138 (#10), Jake Hendricks at 160 (#10), Darrien Roberts at 182 (#13), and Austin Cooley at 195 (#12).

That would be sweet! J Mcd vs Bartlett, Willie vs Manville. Probably Andreesen at 195 vs Sem kid. Who got Sem to come to this neck of the woods?

All the guys mentioned except Hendricks are scheduled to compete. A couple of guys that i cornered for when they were Team NY in Fargo reached out this summer and I’m excited to get home for a few days in Section 6. Thanks Charlie Voorhees for making this happen!

It is now a one day tournament. Wrestle backs like 1000 Islands where if you lose in the first round you drop to a certain bracket etc...So you can only place top 8 if you make it to the 1/4s.

Currently, the Trackwrestling bracket type that is being used is a "32 Man Cons-Format 3-Place 8" bracket type.
If you lose in the 1st championship (forward) round of 32, you will drop down into a "consolation B bracket", on the 2nd page of that bracket.
You will wrestle back only with other round 1 losers in your bracket.
If you lose in the 2nd championship round (round of 16), you will drop down into a "consolation A bracket", also on the 2nd page of that bracket.
You will wrestle back only with other round 2 (round of 16) losers in your bracket.
If you make it to the Quarters, you will place no worse than 8th. The losers of the Quarters will drop to a 5th thru 8th consolation group and wrestle off for 5th thru 8th place. The winners of the Quarters move into the Semi-Finals. The losers of the Semi-Finals will wrestle for 3rd and 4th. The winners of the Semi-Finals will wrestle for 1st and 2nd place. The winners of Consolation A pool and Consolation B pool will not wrestle further and will not place.
The decision was made to use this bracket type to give all wrestlers who lose in round 1 or round 2 more than 1 match and additional matches if they continue to win in their respective Consolation A or B pool and also to insure that no one runs into a 5 match rule issue.

Those matches would not be “sweet” Wyoming sem kids like Bartlett and manville would tech anyone you put out there.

I was referring to the fact one of the top HS teams in the country was coming to Section 6. SWEET!!! But put any negative spin on it that you want.

Lotta work...lotta obstacles. Thanks to Kristin and Tom we got a fighting chance....only one team has not confirmed attendance. Long day tomorrow...Hopefully we will pull this off!
