Novice Wrestling Tournament
Date: Sunday December 8th, 2019 10:00 Start time!!
Place: Thiel College -75 College Avenue, Greenville, PA 16125

Time: Doors open at 9:00 Wrestling starts at 10:00 a.m.
Weigh-Ins: Each school or club will be responsible for weighing each
wrestler the evening prior to the tournament and marking
the left arm with age and exact weight
Entry Fee: $20.00 –Needs received before Wednesday December 4th, 2019
WALK INS: ARE accepted that day $25.00 PLEASE MAIL EARLY.
Ages: This tournament open to 1st and 2nd year ONLY up to 12 years old
Eligibility: Age Day of Tournament
Rules: All matches will be run 1 – 1 – 1.
Awards: All wrestlers will receive a medal after 12 pts.
Admission: Adults $5.00 Student $1.00

Tournament Explanation: This tournament goal is to accomodate the beginning wrestler by providing experience. Each wrestler will receive a bout sheet that will stay with them throughout the tournament. Winning wrestlers will be awarded 5 points while the losing wrestler will be awarded 3 points. In case of a tie both wrestlers will be awarded 5 points. When a wrestler has accumulated 12 points they will receive a medal. All wrestlers can get 4 matches!!
