Is this seriously true? I mean Ive been told by wrestlers that it was true, but I still cant believe it. Why would the Cal Mum Jv tournament have only 2 period matches, with you having to start in neutral at the beginning of both periods? It just seems pretty ridiculous to me.

this is due to the number of matches and the rest between matches. There were a lot of teams there. One wrestler had to go through wrestlebacks and ended up with 7 matches. It is similar to having consolation rounds go 1-2-2.

To get 7 matchs you would of had to have won a pigtail then lost then wrestled back 5 for 4th or 3rd.

Warsaw Jv did the same thing with the 2 periods and both starting neutral... I think it's a good way to go to get in alot of matches in a short time at a larger than expected tourny.
