The wrestlers, possessors of the best won and loss record of any University athletic teams over the three years previous to this one, started the 1941 season with but one returning letterman and only a handful of men who had ever participated in intercollegiate competition. As a result, the Blue and White matmen went through their schedule without a victory to balance six defeats.
