About 20 Youth Coaches meet this past Sunday at the Waterloo Rec Center. We talked about tournament scheduling, referee’s pay, how each others program is run, and our end of year Leauge tournament. We talked about a number of other issues as well.
Any Section 5 youth coach that would like to attend this monthly meeting should reply to this thread and I will pass on your info to Mickey Orr of Penn Yan. The meetings are the first Sunday of every month from Nov-Apr, and participation is required for your team to attend the Leauge Tournament.
I think it would be a good idea for all Youth Tournament Directors to send their results to this website so we can have a results page of our own.

Kyle,
Great ideas, thank you. I work with Fairport youth wrestling, but do not have a youth team per se. What I have is about 2-5 kids who enjoy wrestling enough to travel to tournys (we run a small. loosely organized clinic). Would you accept this number of kids in the year end league tourney?

Mike, Thanks for your interest.
As long as you attend the monthly meetings your kids can go to the league tournament.
Next Meeting is on Dec 12th instead of the 5th. At the Waterloo Rec Center.
