Top 4 in no particular order. Shenendehowa, Hauppauge, Longwood, Timberlane, NH
A notch below in my opinion:
Rocky Point, Macarthur, Wayne, Valley Central, Amsterdam, Burnt Hills, Monroe-Woodbury and a handful of others.
Going to be a great tournament.

Wayne will have a tough go for the team title; they only have 7 or 8 wrestlers. They have a good shot of placing 3 wrestlers in the finals and another 3 or 4 wrestlers going for 3rd & 4th.

Is it true 71 teams are attending?
Also if CF will be there, then i see a team battle between them and Shen

I heard they are up to 81 teams that will be represented. Some teams only bring 1 or 2 kids.

Last year they were 19 out of 75. Probably about the same or slightly higher this year

I'm betting Timberlane, NH wins this one. They have a very deep team and just placed 10th at Beast. Their 103 pounder is an animal (Beast champion) Zach Bridson. The Lawrence brothers are solid as well and they have a shot at 2, maybe 4 champions. They are a public school that travels everywhere to get competition. New England is getting better, but still not tough enough and Timberlane has been on fire the last 5 years. I think they took third last year at Easterns and they have a much better team this year...

Shen or CF

Timberlane came in second last year, barely losing to Shen. I'm telling you they are better this year.

By all accounts they are a better tourney team this year. Timberlane might very well take the team title. Shen, UE, Happauge and Longwood had better bring their A game.

This is a hard one to handicap. Who would have picked Port Jervis a few years ago?
Timberlane, Shen, Longwood, Hauppauge are going to score a lot of points at multiple weight classes. Shen has no Austin Meys this year and a championship with bonus point wins goes a long way here. Rocky Point should also score a lot with 3 kids likely finalists (with a lot of bonus points) and one a high placer.
