7th Annual Knightdale Duals
North Carolina's PREMIER high school wrestling dual meet event
Friday & Saturday, December 30-31, 2011
32 teams will compete in 104 dual meets on 8 mats over two days
NFHS Sanctioned
Conveniently located just east of Raleigh, North Carolina. Close to RDU international airport, AMTRAK train station, several local hotels. Knightdale is located at the intersection of the I-540 "outer belt-line" loop and US-64.
Hospitality Room is fantastic. Buffalo Wild Wings, "Smokin' Hot Butts" pulled pork BBQ, and Armstrong's Chili are among the favorites.
Facility Knightdale High was built in 2004 and has a great layout that is well-suited for hosting large wrestling events. Ample Locker Rooms, shower stalls, space for 8 wrestling mats.
Competition Knightdale works diligently to attract top-quality teams to Knightdale Duals. In the past, we have hosted: Orange High (Multiple NC dual team and individual state titles), Parkland High (currently working a 200+ dual meet win streak), Colonial Forge (Multiple Virginia dual team and individual state titles), JM Robinson (2010 NC 3A State duals champions), Kellam (Virginia powerhouse), Kennett Square (PA), White Knoll (SC), Matoaca (VA), Woodbridge (VA), and many others.
Reasonable Cost $200.00 with two $50 discounts available: Early payment (by June 2011), and Top-3 in your state tournament (duals or individual)
Awards are unique, custom laser-engraved glass, sure to stand out in your trophy case

Format:
Friday (12/30/2011)
Teams will be seeded #1 - #32 based on current dual meet records (divided into winning %)
Teams will be in one of eight, 4-team pools and will wrestle a round-robin (3 duals)
Saturday (12/31/2011)
Teams who won their pool will wrestle in the Division I bracket (8-team bracket: each team wrestles at least 3 duals)
Teams who placed 2nd in their pool will wrestle in the Division II bracket
Teams who placed 3rd in their pool will wrestle in the Division III bracket
Teams who placed 4th in their pool will wrestle in the Division IV bracket
