Mitch will be holding a Free clinic for all wrestlers that are participating in the Amsterdam youth duals Team tournament on Feb. 26th 2005.
The clinic will begin at 8:30am.befor the tournament begins Mitch will be available to talk with and sign autographs during the day Mitch will also be selling some of his best wrestling products.
This is an opportunity of a life time to have such a great wrestler and coach in our area for all of our young wrestlers to meet so please show him your support and get your team registered by Feb. 15th

Duals Tournament Information
When: Saturday, February 26th. , 2005
Time: Wrestling Begins @ 9:30 a.m.
Place: Amsterdam Lynch Middle School Gym – Amsterdam, NY. 12010.
Team Registration Cost: $250 total /$100 deposit due by February 15th..*First teams to pay will be first teams guaranteed entry*
Weigh-Ins: Friday, February 25th. @ LMS – 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, February 26th.. @ LMS– 7:00 - 8:00 A.m. *no weight allowances*
Coaches Meeting: Saturday, February 26th.th. @ 8:15 a.m.
Number of Teams: 12 Teams.
Wrestler Eligibility: Age five (5) – (14) fourteen
Weight Classes (Six alternates are permitted per team)
45 - 50 – 55 – 60 – 65 – 70 – 75 – 80 – 85 – 95 – 105 – 115 – 125 - 135- Hwt.
Awards
Top seven teams receive awards. First Place award is a team trophy over 6 feet tall
Tournament Rules
Modified N.Y.S.H.S.R. rules. Singlets, wrestling shoes & headgear must be worn. No more than four (4) coaches on the bench at any one time.
Tournament Match Guidelines
Pools will be drawn prior to tournament with same areas being separated.
Round-Robin matches thru pools wrestling back to ninth place.
Length of Bouts
3-one minute periods – 2-thirty second OT ride out periods. In event of a tie score following OT ride out, wrestler who scored first during the match wins the match.
Team Rosters
Head Coach is required to mail in a team roster along with team registration form and tournament deposit.
Team Rosters should include; Wrestlers Name, Weight Class & Age. Deposit, Registration Form & Rosters due no later than, February 15th.. , 2005.
Attached Team Roster / Release Form should be completed along with parent’s signature of each wrestler.
Team Roster/Release form must be turned into James Lapi.
Team Registration
Team Registration and a $100 deposit (non-refundable) due no later than February 15th.. , 2005.
Teams will be granted & guaranteed entry based on “first pay, first in”.

Note for all coaches
We had 12 teams from five states last year and it all went great. We received a lot of praise about this type of tournament so if you have never been in a youth dual tournament you have to try it. I know you will be happy, and the wrestlers get a chance to wrestle as a team. So get your roster in to secure your teams spot in this great team tournament.
