It's obvoius (look when they joined the forum too). It's a shame they now feel the need to flood this forum with propoganda and non-stop slams against the current CA coaching. They've successfully used their powers of persuasion to force the railroading taking place in Canandaigua, now they're trying to sway discussion on an open forum. This only clarifies what's really behind all of this.

for the record i felt for a long time that the head coach and the assitant for the varisity have not done much for the team since they have been there ( coaching wise). in my opion if mr. romeo and mr.oliver remane coaching varsity ca teams will not be that good i wanted to see a change for a long time.i do not want to see either king or weldon as coach.as much as i want to see ca get better i would rather see them stay the way they are then to see mr.romeo get removed if its false.

i've heard so many good things about mr. romeo. many wrestlers i know are invited by him to go to their practices and work with the kids in their program to help their technique. i know mr. oliver personally and have seen him in the wrestling room. he is an excellent "teacher". he gives kids many tips on the moves that they perform, and has alot of knowledge on the sport. i mean duhhh ... hes a olympic coach!! he no-doubt loves the sport. there arent many people out there who just volunteer all of their time to a sport unless its something they really loved and had a passion for. These two love working with the kids and would do anything in their ability to help the kids acheive the highest possible.

sageand sand..i believe we know who you are...its a shame you have no children of your own. you need to experience the pain you feel through your children to spend so much time with a coach and lose him because of your thoughts of a dream team that coul and will not ever happen. your era is over. accept and move on.

I don't know who sageandsand is......I've been a fan of Section V wrestling for a long time....I've only talked with Marty King a couple of times. I do know that Marty and Matt King have been demonized on this message board. I was tired of seeing it happen and that's why I decided to post. There's a "mob" mentality that's criticizing the King's and I don't think it's called for.
I've also heard that Romeo talked to Weldon in a disrespectful way at dual meets and tournaments many times. I don't think there's any excuse for that.

I am not from Canandaigua, but wanted to say that I 2nd what KTLYNN posted. You are all saying its not fair to trash the Kings, then how is it fair to trash Mr. Romeo?
