Hi all,
I am not sure if this has been posted on here yet, but on May 12th, Petrides High School in Staten Island, NY will be hosting a takedown tournament to benefit Autism.
The tournament is sponsored by a new organization call Pinning Down Autism, which is comprised of various members of the wrestling community who are dedicated to defeating Autism.
There will be several divisions: ages 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, High School, Open, and Veterans (Over 30 years old).
All divisions will be Madison Weights.
The tournament will be held in conjunction with a BBQ. In addition to individual awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each weight class, Yankee and Met tickets, wrestling gear, other prizes will be awarded to the wrestlers with most total points scored. Other items such as autographed baseballs will be awarded as raffle prizes.
